As a few of you know, Roy was able to trade in the Winplus van and get a new Rav 4 two weeks ago. We have been holding our breath and hoping the new car would not follow past experiences and stay new for a long time. Well true to life and when you are blessed you are also challenged, it didn't last new long at all. This week Roy came home from work and ran in saying he could hear hissing from a tire and wanting to quick get it fixed before it went flat and did our tire place stay open late? Of course not much is open at 6 so your choices are limited. He found a place and got it started and then took my car to his meetings while I waited for his car. Then to my horror they tell me that in changing the tire. they broke one of the lug bolts and I would need to bring it back tomorrow so they could fix it. We took it to the Toyota Dealership and they shook their heads and said they would repair it at no charge (more blessings) and our car is no longer new!
ps this is the 4h flat tire we have had in the past year so hopefully we have filled our allotment!
pss roy likes the hands free blue tooth button on the steering wheel - push the button and call Dana and tell her how soon he will be home!
