We had such a fun week celebrating Rachel's high school graduation. She was kidnapped by her young women's leaders on Saturday morning. Here she is and she is not even awake. She had been up late because she thought she could sleep in. So sorry, Rachel. She had a smile on her face for us and had fun going out for pancakes. They even got cheers as they went into the restaurant.
This is after baccalaureate which was Sat. night. It was nice to have the Grandma's and Hilary come to that. They showed a fun video of the students and all the things that they had done.
The Grandma's then had the longest trip possible home because an oil tanker overturned on the freeway and they sat for an hour or so before they were finaly able to get off the freeway and then take a long detour home. I hope they never have to do that again.
This is Rachel at Graduation at the Home Depot Center in Carson. Of course it was hot and we really haven't had much hot weather. Lucky we could come home and be cooled of by our ocean breeze. Rachel had so much fun she wants to graduate every year.
